1977-1982: Studied Law at the University of Cologne after receiving a degree in Art History and Cultural Anthropology
1982-1985: Law clerk with Düsseldorf District Court.
Since 1987: Attorney at law, admitted to practice before the Düsseldorf District Court.
1988-1991: Lecturer in labor Law at the DAA, Düsseldorf Administrative College [(Deutsche Angestellten Akademie,]
Since 2000: Qualified Specialist in Criminal Law.

PRACTICE AREAS:
General and specialized criminal Law; capital offenses, tax offenses, environmental offenses, the law of judicial measure enforcement [Maßregelvollzugsrecht], appellate law.
