Born 1965 in Wehr/Baden.
1988-1992: Studied Law at Albert-Ludwigs-University, Freiburg.
1993-1995: Law clerk with Kleve District Court.
1996: Admitted to practice before the Düsseldorf District Court in.
1999: licensed as a Qualified Specialist in Criminal Law by the Düsseldorf Bar.
2003 - 2004: Instructor at the Police Institute for Education and Specialized Training, North-Rhine Westphalia [Institut für Aus- und Fortbildung der Polizei Nordrhein-Westfalen] in Neuss.
2004 - 2006: Member of the Examination Committee of the Düsseldorf  and Cologne Bar Associations for awarding the title “Qualified Attorney in Criminal Law.”
Since 2005: admitted to practice before the Düsseldorf High Regional Court.
2007: Member of the Examination Committee of the Düsseldorf Bar Association for awarding the title "Qualified Attornney in Criminal Law".
